"Powwow Bound: A Menominee Homecoming" is a story-driven, web-based adventure game that’s developed in collaboration between Nebraska Public Media and PBS Wisconsin. The goal of the game is to accurately present the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin as they exist today, and allow players to learn about the culture and traditions of the tribe through the lens of the annual powwow. I was the lead UI designer tasked with developing UI elements to fit the game and the client's vision. The main UI element I worked on was the user's scrapbook. However, I also developed a small woodgrain style guide that was used to outsource small UI elements that I didn't have the time to create. I would give feedback and approval on them. In addition, I developed the title design and multiple alternate variations for different needs.
